Believ, the UK’s fastest growing charge point operator (CPO), has been accredited with several ISO certifications which demonstrate the company’s commitment to quality assurance, customer satisfaction, data security, health and safety and environmental best practice.
Developed and overseen by the International Organisation for Standardisation in Geneva, Switzerland, the certifications which the CPO has been awarded are ISO 14001 (environmental management systems), ISO 27001 (information security certification), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management certification), and ISO 9001 (quality management certification).
Believ met the extensive ISO criteria by proving its high standards across all stages of charge point installation for local government, businesses, and landowners. This includes research and development, product testing, delivery, support and customer service.
Guy Bartlett, CEO at Believ, says the company continuously strives to enhance both their practices and methodologies to ensure continual improvement in what they do and how they do it: “Achieving ISO certification is a significant milestone, as it demonstrates Believ has reached even higher levels of efficiency, credibility and success.
“We’ve worked hard to meet and exceed the requirements of the standards throughout the entire business. However, our commitment doesn’t stop there – it’s an ongoing journey,” says Guy.
Certified companies must adhere to rigorous guidelines related to the processes within each category in order to retain their certification.
The ISO 14001 certification provides a framework for organisations to create and maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) to enhance environmental performance, meet legal requirements and achieve environmental goals.
The ISO 27001 certification is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS) and provides companies with guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system.
ISO 45001 is an international standard that outlines requirements for an Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system. It offers a framework for organisations to enhance OH&S performance, manage risks, and establish criteria for policies, objectives, planning, implementation, operation, auditing, and review.
The ISO 9001 is a globally recognised standard for quality management, and helps businesses to improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate commitment to quality.
