Believ partners with Hertfordshire County Council in £38 million rollout to deliver thousands of EV charge points
Electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator (CPO) Believ has been appointed by Hertfordshire County Council to deliver a £38 million expansion of public EV charging infrastructure, supporting residents without off-street parking and helping create a cleaner, greener and healthier Hertfordshire.

Believ and Firehouse Oxford accelerate ultra-rapid EV charging access on key A40 route
Electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator (CPO) Believ is improving access to high-speed charging through a new partnership with Firehouse Oxford that will deliver a fully funded, ultra-rapid EV charging hub at its site in Witney. The restaurant with hotel rooms is conveniently situated near the A40, which links London, Oxford, Gloucester, and South Wales. It attracts around 27,000 drivers a day, making this hub a convenient, reliable charging location for passing traffic, local EV drivers or those using the Firehouse facilities.

Which regions are Britain’s Clean Air champions?
New research by Believ analysed changes in air quality of local authorities and neighbourhoods (LSOAs) across the UK. We used annual mean measurements of population-weighted PM2.5, and annual mean NO2 levels from modelled pollution data published by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) between two time periods, 2017–2019 and 2022–2024, carefully excluding COVID-affected years. We then compared the latest three-year annual average levels of those key pollutants to the UK’s 2030 targets and the WHO’s latest targets.

Believ supports Plymouth City Council’s electric vehicle charging expansion
Charge point operator (CPO) Believ is partnering with Plymouth City Council to roll out hundreds of new electric vehicle (EV) charge points across the city. The project is expected to deliver around 440 dual chargers by 2028, with scope to scale up as demand increases – significantly expanding the council’s on-street charging infrastructure to support the transition to electric vehicles.
